Lower price high-end. DeepCool releases the Assassin 4S cooler

Minus one fan makes the Assassin 4S 20 EUR cheaper than the Assassin IV it’s based on. The heatsink seems to be the same, and the only difference is the number of fans – one instead of two. The cooling performance will most certainly be lower, but we expect that its drop won’t be as significant as the amount of money that you can save with this cheaper model. Release of Noctua’s 140mm next-gen fans sticks to schedule

The title couldn’t fit a “despite complications with the frame”. Even though Noctua figured out that the fan blades could collide under adverse circumstances due to deformation of the frame in a more advanced stage of prototyping, it seems that the fix for this inconvenience didn’t take too long. PCCooler CPS RZ620 – Successful entry to the big leagues

Mystique 360: The first of next-gen DeepCool AIOs

In a move marked by broader changes, DeepCool is releasing the Mystique line of liquid coolers. Of the main things that affect cooling efficiency, the design of the pump, coldplate, and fans have all been affected. At the end of this year, I have prepared a review of Valkyrie’s AIO liquid cooler. In the autumn I tested their flagship cooler Dragonfang 360 and today we will test its smaller brother, the Dragonfang 240. It is cheaper and has wider compatibility, as it is more compact. What impact does adjusting the fan configuration have on the efficiency and acoustic pfrofile of the Scythe Fuma 3 cooler? We report on the possible changes in the additional tests, where in one of the modes, the heatsink is supplemented with a third fan and in the other we replaced the low-profile fan with a thicker model, but at the same time we deprived the cooler of one of the advertised advantages – the counter-rotating fans. Another cooler that we will have time to look at this year is the Scythe Fuma 3. This cooler uses several atypical design elements, which makes it different from the usual dual-tower coolers in its class. Moreover, with a price tag of just over 50 EUR, it could offer an interesting price/performance ratio.
