DeepCool has expanded the range of its liquid coolers with two models with 120mm fans. The larger one, LT720 (with three fans) and the LT520, which has one less fan. Compared to the LS series of liquid coolers, fans without LEDs are used, but the designers implemented ARGB LEDs into the cooler block housing with a mirror effect. Not only this is supposed to be attractive in this part of the cooler, but also the pump itself.<\/p>\n

It could probably be said that the DeepCool LT liquid coolers should, at first glance, attract those users who don’t sympathize with the fully illuminated fan rotors on the DeepCool LS coolers<\/a>, but don’t mind a little illuminated adornment within the block.<\/p>\n

DeepCool’s latest liquid coolers come in two formats, in 360 mm (LT720)<\/a> and 240 mm (LT520)<\/a>. With that said, the radiator length exceeds the three consecutive fans by 42 mm in both cases. The L720 is 402 mm in length and the LT520 is 282 mm in length.<\/p>\n

The FK120 fans used surpass those (F120) sold separately by 400 rpm. At maximum speed, up to 2250 rpm is reached. At that speed, the airflow is specified to be up to 145.86 m3<\/sup>\/h and the static pressure 3.27 mm H2<\/sub>O. The same static pressure is quoted for LS720\/520 coolers with FC120 fans, so there should be no difference in airflow through the radiator body due to the different material and cooling performance should be the same. The fan bearings are liquid (FDB), no MTBF information is given by DeepCool.<\/p>\n

Unlike many competing liquid coolers, there is a different pump. This is not the work of Asetek and DeepCool boasts its own pump in its fourth generation. This one has a three-phase torque motor (which is a good thing in terms of achieving the lowest possible vibration and noise) and a speed of 3100 rpm. With a view to more efficient fluid flow, the microchannels inside the block are supposed to be better (than they used to be) arranged. These are copper as is the whole block. The radiator is aluminum, but judging by the longer, 5-year warranty, the galvanic corrosion inhibitor will probably be quite effective.<\/p>\n

The LT720 and LT520 liquid coolers should be visually appealing, especially because of the design of the pump housing. This is made of clear material on four sides, behind which are shielded ARGB LEDs that illuminate the square and rectangular light guides. There appear to be more of these inside, at different levels, which is achieved by mirroring them. In connection with this effect, DeepCool mentions a multi-dimensional aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Finally, the support, price and availability of these coolers. Intel LGA 1700\/1200\/115x\/2066\/2011(-v3) and AMD AM5\/AM4 platforms are supported and you can also install the coolers on Threadrippers on TRX4 and TR4 platforms. The recommended retail price is in the range of 145\u2013150 EUR (LT720) and 125\u2013130 EUR (LT520), respectively. The coolers should be available in stores from January 2023.<\/p>\n
