The models are divided into two main series.Drives from the P series<\/strong> offer a balanced ratio between performance and price. They use PCIe 4.0 x4 and PCIe 3.0 x4 interfaces. The Viper<\/strong> series is then aimed at gamers and demanding users and includes models for PCIe 4.0 x4 and PCIe 5.0 x4.<\/p>\n Each model is produced in several capacities. With the lowest-capacity variants in a series, expect lower read and write speeds, either because of the lower number of chips with which the controller can work simultaneously, or because of the smaller space that can be reserved for the SLC cache, which is used to write larger amounts of data quickly.<\/p>\n For the new PCIe 5.0<\/strong> interface, Patriot offers two high-end models from the Viper series, codenamed PV573 and PV553.<\/p>\n For the now common PCIe 4.0<\/strong>, more demanding customers will make use of the high performance drives from the Viper series with the model designations VP4300<\/a>, VP4300 Lite<\/a> and VP4300 Mini. It offers extreme sequential read speeds of up to 14,000 MB\/s and write speeds of up to 12,000 MB\/s, another leap forward over previous SSD generations. It features active cooling to help the powerful drive dissipate heat efficiently, preventing it from overheating and ensuring stable performance even under sustained load.
