In connection with Arctic, we were most interested in the details surrounding the new \u201cPro\u201d P-series fans featuring seven blades<\/a>. These recently appeared on the Liquid Freezer III Pro<\/a> coolers, and not only are these fans heading for individual sale, but their aerodynamic design will also serve as the basis for upcoming 140 mm variants. At the Computex 2025 booth, Arctic even had its own PC case on display.<\/p>\n

A topic that is guaranteed to resonate in the coming period \u2013 Arctic \u201cP\u201d Pro fans<\/a>. They surfaced publicly along with the launch of the Liquid Freezer III Pro<\/a> AIOs, whose radiators they keep cool.<\/p>\n

The aerodynamic design of these fans is entirely new, marking a noticeable shift for Arctic away from what has long been considered a sort of \u201cbenchmark\u201d for low-end cooling. Arctic even plans to replace the P12<\/a> models with the P12 Pro fans. The new seven-blade fans were developed to offer more attractive characteristics than the older five-blade \u201cP\u201d fan designs \u2013 specifically when it comes to performance on radiators, which is the primary application for these fans.<\/p>\n

Both static pressure and airflow are expected to be higher than with the cheaper P12s (hopefully with less noise… we’ll see in tests). This improvement is thanks to the new aerodynamic design featured in the P12 Pro fans. The two extra blades were added specifically for these reasons \u2013 to achieve greater static pressure along with increased airflow. If this proves true, there will definitely be something to get excited about, especially considering what Arctic claims their \u201cless efficient\u201d P12 design already accomplishes on radiators<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cP\u201d Pro fans won\u2019t remain limited to the 120 mm format \u2013 Arctic showcased them at Computex 2025 also in the 140 mm size. They will appear as part of upcoming 280 mm and 420 mm AIO coolers<\/a>, whose release is just around the corner, and afterward, both the P12 Pro and P14 Pro fans will also be available for standalone purchase. Exactly when this will happen wasn’t specified by the Arctic representative \u2013 understandably so. One thing is a timeline where everything goes smoothly and on schedule \u2013 and then there are the various real-world factors that can slow down the actual retail launch.<\/p>\n

In any case, it\u2019s confirmed that the new seven-blade P-series fans will also be sold independently, outside of coolers, and you\u2019ll be able to buy them on their own sooner or later. And it\u2019s likely to be sooner \u2013 these fans should become available fairly soon.<\/p>\n

Besides the liquid coolers, P12 Pro fans will also feature on the revised Freezer 36S cooler, and we can reasonably expect them to show up on the Freezer 37 cooler as well. Arctic naturally can\u2019t reveal much detail about that model yet, not even whether it will exist at all, but given the popularity of the Freezer 3x series among users, it\u2019s unlikely that the company won\u2019t continue it.<\/p>\n

Also spinning at Arctic\u2019s booth was the Freezer 8 cooler, which is aimed at mid-range processors and is focused on affordability. It\u2019s intended to replace the basic solutions that come bundled with low-power CPUs. It\u2019s also attractive for \u201ctray\u201d processors, which don\u2019t come with a cooler at all, yet don\u2019t have particularly high power demands. For example, it\u2019s meant to keep performance within the TDP envelope \u2013 around 125 W \u2013 which the Freezer 8 will likely handle more efficiently than the basic stock coolers from both AMD and Intel.<\/p>\n

There was also an A-RGB variant of the Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 on display (Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB<\/a>) \u2013 a visually striking (and efficient) CPU cooler designed for today\u2019s mainstream AMD (AM5 and AM4) and Intel (LGA 1851 and LGA 1700) platforms.<\/p>\n

Arctic also demonstrated its AIO coolers installed in a complete build \u2013 housed in its own Xtender (VG) case, featuring tempered glass on both the side and front panels. Yes, Arctic is preparing to enter the PC case market as well.<\/p>\n

One of the standout case accessories was a PCIe riser. This component enables vertical GPU mounting in tower-style cases (so that the graphics card\u2019s PCB lies parallel to the motherboard PCB), maximizing the system\u2019s visual appeal.<\/p>\n

And who knows, the impact on operational characteristics and cooling might not be bad either. When the opportunity arises, we\u2019d be interested in testing that \u2013 comparing horizontal vs. vertical GPU mounting \u2013 as part of our case analysis content.<\/p>\n
