In recent years, several new companies have appeared on the scene that may not yet be widely recognized. This series focuses precisely on such relatively new players. Although these brands have been on the market for a short time, their ambitions, fresh ideas, and technical solutions should not be underestimated. The first of them is aiming straight for the top.

HAVN—a new strong contender

A tidally locked planet, with one side permanently facing its star while the other remains in eternal darkness. On the sunlit side, temperatures climb to as high as 260 °C. Oops—wrong universe. Still, the phonetic proximity to the heaven (or to the aforementioned planet from a certain fictional universe) is probably no coincidence. The company’s philosophy is clear—it aims high, close to the heavens. HAVN is a relatively new but rapidly growing player in the PC hardware and cooling solutions space. The brand was established as a premium label within Pro Gamers Group (PGG).

HAVN has set itself an ambitious goal: to elevate the quality of PC components by combining the long-term experience of industry veterans with design focused on cooling efficiency. Its team consists of designers, engineers, and PC enthusiasts. According to industry chatter, the people behind the brand bring more than 20 years of experience, including stints at major names such as Fractal Design, NZXT, and Cooler Master. This is one of the reasons HAVN is often described as a group of “defectors” who wanted to build something new.

Debut product—the HS 420 case

The product with which HAVN debuted at Computex 2024 was the HS 420 case. At first glance, it offered something different, with a high level of build quality evident even on a cursory look. Thanks to a refined airflow system, a hybrid internal structure, and an elegant panoramic design, the HS 420 won over the enthusiast community right from its unveiling. This model defined the brand’s initial vision—a perfect blend of aesthetics and functionality for high-performance builds.

BF 360—a case with a stone face

Following the success of the HS 420, HAVN expanded its case lineup with another model—the BF 360, introduced at Computex 2025. The BF 360 is the first case where the brand moved more decisively toward a purely functional design, while also demonstrating a solid understanding of current high-end build trends. The focus is on airflow optimization, uncompromising build quality, and compatibility with large, power-hungry components. An open front panel, a thoughtfully designed internal layout, and a minimum of unnecessary airflow barriers define the approach. HAVN is clearly targeting users building systems with next-generation GPUs—often with high TDPs and massive coolers (GPU support up to 410 mm). Support for very large air coolers (up to 195 mm) and openness to liquid cooling setups (360 mm top, 420 mm front) further underline this intent. The BF 360 may be less of a showpiece than the HS 420, but it focuses on what a PC case is fundamentally about: a robust construction (around 14 kg), modularity, easy component installation, and excellent airflow. At the same time, it offers an elegant aesthetic with a stone-like front panel finish that makes it genuinely distinctive.

H-series fans—their own path, no copycat design

Alongside the BF 360, HAVN also introduced its own fans, included with the case but available separately as well. Notably, HAVN avoids RGB lighting or aggressive styling here. Instead, the H series presents a clean, technical, and functional look, once again echoing a philosophy reminiscent of brands like Fractal Design. At first glance, the fans appear precisely engineered while remaining unconventional and unlike most mainstream offerings. Their real-world characteristics, however, will only become clear once they undergo proper testing. Perhaps sample units will eventually find their way into the HWCooling lab. It’s also worth noting that despite standard sizes (120 and 140 mm), HAVN opted straight away for a thicker profile—30 mm. In the 180 mm format, thickness goes up to 40 mm.

Expansion into PSUs

At CES 2026, the company took another major step forward, unveiling the XR 1000W Platinum A++ power supply. According to the stated certifications, this unit should deliver very high efficiency (Cybenetics Platinum A++) while remaining quiet (acoustic rating: Cybenetics Lambda A++). It’s clearly aimed at modern high-performance systems built to the latest ATX 3.1 standards. Here too, the philosophy is consistent and unmistakable—they are aiming straight for the top.

This move shows that HAVN does not want to be seen merely as a design-focused case manufacturer, but as a comprehensive player in the premium PC hardware space.
