Fractal Design Flex 2 for free. First to write wins

What’s it about and how to participate

Since we have no use for the Flex 2 holders from our recent review and also, FD doesn’t want them back, we’re giving them away. To readers who can take advantage of vertical mounting of the graphics card. There are only two available (black and white), so speed is of the essence. The first person to respond to this challenge gets to pick the colour, the second person will be sent the one left if they wish, and the third person in row is already writing late.

What’s it about…

Fractal Design Flex 2, a bracket for vertical installation of a graphics card. It also includes a PCI Express riser/cable and all the accessories you need for it. Tests show that Flex 2 does not affect the performance or stability of the graphics card you use with it, unless you encounter some rare, unfavorable combination of components (power supply, motherboard and graphics card itself).

… and how to participate

What I require is that you state what graphics card and what case the Flex 2 is supposed to work with. This is to prevent possible incompatibility. Only those cases are supported in which, after removing the PCIe plugs, there are no fixed obstacles between the positions and all this space remains empty. The distance of the PCIe positions from the side panel is also important. Thicker graphics cards may not fit into some cases, and those models that are too wide (or in this case, too tall) may interfere with tower CPU coolers for a change.

If you post a photo of the installed graphics card in the discussion below this article after a successful installation, that will be a nice bonus. However, this is not a requirement. If you don’t want to brag about the result, you don’t have to.

Send the e-mails to info@hwcooling.net with the subject I could use the Fractal Design Flex 2. So hurry up, so someone doesn’t beat you to it. You’ll know this contest is out of date by seeing the Flex 2 owners already listed below this text. And actually, one more thing: Please also mention which color variant you prefer. If no one else beats you to it, you have your choice, from the two pieces we have. So will it be the black or the white one?

Who won: The contestants with the email addresses e*r*q*e*p*0@gmail.com (FD Flex 2 Black) and c.*e*a*u*n*e*2*@gmail.com> (FD Flex 2 White). Congratulations!
