Winner of the HWC competition for mobo, CPU and cooler

How was the competition and who won

Over the past week you have sent us many encouraging messages, but you have not been afraid of constructive criticism either. All suggestions have been extremely useful feedback for us. We know what you are missing and we can gradually respond to these things and incorporate them into the site. Thank you! Traditionally grimmer is the announcement of only one of our readers, decided by a random number generator.

There were two ways to participate in the competition launched on 29 August 2022. Either you took the trouble to refer someone to one of our articles, or you could write a sort of “review” on HWC highlighting the things you visit us for, as well as your observations on possible improvements (to the tests, to the topics, and to the site as a whole). Mostly you used the latter option and often made very substantive comments.

The most repeated were things like the ability to interactively filter results by selecting specific components you are interested in or a clearer separation of tests from “news” arcticles. We will look for solutions in the future and will do everything in our power to make HWCooling as user-friendly as possible for you. We appreciate that many of you have highlighted the depth of our tests built on “hard-core” methodologies. So all that extremely time-consuming work doesn’t seem to be completely wasted…

… but now to the main thing, to the winner, to whom we will send the Asus TUF Gaming B660 Plus motherboard, Intel Core i5-12400 processor and SilentiumPC Spartan 5 cooler. That’s all that was in the game. The new owner of these components will recognize themselves by this partially obscured email address O.Tom@******.cz. Congratulations! For those who didn’t make it and would still like to compete, they can try to solve the HWC puzzle.
