Enermax contest bonus: You’ll also get fans with the PSU

What’s it about and how to participate

The ongoing contest for Enermax PSUs is now even more attractive. You can also enter for fans, which we will be happy to add to the package for the winner. And also for free. In their case, we don’t even require them to be paired with the main build (with the Enermax PSU). You can use them as you see fit in some other computer where they will do a better job than gathering dust on the shelves of our testlab.

What’s it about…

You can get a three-pack of Enermax SquA RGB fans in black or white. The choice is yours, we have both options available and will give away one or the other.

… and how to participate

If you have already entered the Enermax Revolution D.F. 12 PSU contest and you are also interested in the Enermax SquA RGB fans, please send us one more email. Do it in the already running thread in which you are also competing for the PSU. And if you haven’t entered the PSU contest yet, but plan to and are also interested in the fans, make a note at the end of your message that you want the fans as well. Within that note, indicate which variant you are interested in. Do you prefer black (SquA RGB) or white (SquA RGB White)?

SquA RGB fans do not need to be included in the build with the Revolution D.F. 12 if you win. Here we respect that you have it figured out differently already, with more efficient fans (than the SquA RGB). You can safely use these within some other computer. However, in order to get the fans, it’s a requirement that you enter the PSU contest, in which the triple pack of the SquA RGB (White) is just an “extra” prize, a bonus.

And one more thing. Don’t be afraid of not being the best candidate for an extra short ATX PSU (with 122 mm of length) like the Enermax Revolution D.F. 12. Based on the number of conversions, which is lower than what is normally seen in our contests, we can see that you have some respect for this one, but probably unwarranted.

Again, the point is not that you somehow have to specifically justify why you can’t do without such a short PSU. Just point to the fact that the shorter length made it easier to work with the cabling than it would have been with a longer PSU. Feel free to get involved, the chances of winning a PSU are high.

The money you save on a free Enermax PSU is always good for something else, a more powerful processor, a quieter graphics card or more storage. So go for it! Contest entries can be submitted until April 30 (23:59 CET) 2024. More details can be found in the article Want an extra short ATX PSU? Enermax is giving some away.

Corsair RS Max: Fans that can rise to the top

With the RS Max fans, Corsair is aiming really high. Across the most popular 120 and 140mm formats, it has incorporated technically what should define perhaps the most efficient fans of their kind. Especially when it comes to the 140mm variant. It too is 30mm thick, which combined with the curved LCP blades makes it a theoretical favorite to win many “first places”. Noctua: New 140 mm fans to premiere on a CPU cooler

Noctua’s long-awaited next-gen fans in the 140mm format have experienced a setback in their planned release, but they also haven’t. They have indeed been delayed from the second to third quarter of 2024 in terms of standalone availability, but they should be out soon together with the cooler that replaces the NH-D15 at the top of the lineup. In addition, it’s also been somewhat declassified which of the “older” projects is nearing completion. Read more “Noctua: New 140 mm fans to premiere on a CPU cooler” »
