DeepCool Riddle (3/2026). Can you guess what’s in the photo?

In cooperation with DeepCool, we have prepared a cyclical activity for this year, which may be of interest to HWCooling readers. We’ll post a detail of some piece of hardware and you can guess what it is. You can compete (and eventually win something) on a regular basis, with a new challenge every month. But for now, you need to get “to the next round” through the next one, in March.

Over the course of the year, we will publish twelve riddles (one each month), which you will need to solve. How? In the header of each riddle, or rather in the article title, there will be a photograph showing a detail of a component that you must identify and name.

The details may point to more than one correct answer. For example, if there are different product variants sharing common visual features (perhaps differing only in model, fan speed, and similar aspects), or if the macro photograph does not reveal differences (which can be the case with liquid coolers of different sizes), then multiple answers may be considered correct. Naturally, we will accept all of them.

Send your answers to the email address in**@*******ng.net with the subject DeepCool Riddle (x/2026), where “x” should be replaced with the number of the given month. All messages received within seven days of the publication of each riddle will be recorded.

At the final evaluation, the speed at which you send your answers will also matter. We expect a larger number of successful solvers, and the ranking of winners will be based not only on correct answers but also on how promptly you reacted. This means that competitors with the shortest average response time will place higher.

Physical prizes will be awarded to the three most successful participants. The winner will be able to choose one product from all the products we tested in 2025. The second-place finisher will then choose from the remaining products (all tested products minus the one selected by the winner), and the third-place finisher similarly (choosing from all tested products minus the two already selected by the more successful participants). There will certainly be plenty to choose from. DeepCool is releasing many products this year, and we will cover a large portion of them in our tests.

Anyone may participate in the competition, but prize delivery is only possible to a European address. Participants from other continents will therefore need to handle part of the logistics themselves if they win. For others (from European Union countries), the prize will be delivered directly to their home by courier.

Note: The correct solution will always be published at this place after the given riddle expires. The March riddle hid a PC case (type of hardware) with the designation CH260 (WH).

Regular, monthly riddles will continue into 2026 as well. This time connected with the DeepCool brand. Their product portfolio is very close to our focus, which makes the search for what you see in the photo details all the more interesting. At the end of the year, we will evaluate everything and see the results. For now, however, it is time to solve the first January challenge. And as with the others, the most successful solvers will be rewarded. Read more “DeepCool Riddle (1/2026). Can you guess what’s in the photo?” »
