So, soon, we’ll be taking the PC hardware on the road a little. On October 6, our conference will take place at the Secondary Vocational in Poprad, preceding a live broadcast that you can be part of. There will be a large number of modern components, presentations and activities (such as working with LN2 or cable-making) we wouldn’t dare attempt even in the HWCooling test lab. Everything will culminate in students installing a CPU cooler.
The Secondary Vocational School of Technology in Poprad will host a “dress rehearsal” for the nationwide HWCooling Techtour ’26 conference. Despite the informal name (dress rehearsal), it will be a full-fledged programme, only without cameras, and you will be able to see what the whole thing looks like later (from Martin on October 8).
In Poprad, students will also have a chance to compete for an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X. They will have to install a CPU cooler both properly (meaning that it would actually work in practice) and as quickly as possible (first one wins…). The winner will take home not only the cooler (the DeepCool AK620 Digital SE, by the way), but also an Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi motherboard.
We already tried out this concept in 2024, when Intel was used instead of AMD and Gigabyte instead of Asus (as far as the motherboard is concerned).

Before all of this, however, we plan to publish a review of the Eurux GR120 fan.
