AOC Agon 4 Pro AG324UX: Finally in the big leagues

I usually praise AOC in our tests for its great price-performance ratio, as the monitors we’ve tested so far have been aimed more at the lower to mid-range segment. Thus, there were usually a few compromises that the manufacturer made to keep the price attractive. The new AG324UX, however, is something entirely different. It is the first truly high-end gaming monitor from AOC in our tests to offer 4K at 144Hz, Adaptive Sync, HDR and USB-C. Read more “AOC Agon 4 Pro AG324UX: Finally in the big leagues” »

Asus RT-AX53U: Cheap router in test, or WiFi 6 for the masses

WiFi 6 has been with us for a while now, but the adoption of this new wireless standard has been a bit lackluster. And it’s not for lack of clients, WiFi 6 is in new devices for sure. I consider the main reason to be poorer availability, as WiFi 6 has so far appeared mainly in top router models costing hundreds of euros, which only a connoisseur will reach for. But with the arrival of the affordable RT-AX53U, this situation is changing. Read more “Asus RT-AX53U: Cheap router in test, or WiFi 6 for the masses” »

AOC U27V4EA: 4K on 27″ for the economical, but with IPS

Monitors with 4K resolution have been here for some time now, but their significant expansion has long been hindered by their high prices. More solid models used to cost over €500, and the cheaper ones often offered relatively low-quality panels with TN. However, times have changed and 4K monitors are not necessarily a privilege anymore, but common mainstream products. This is exactly what AOC is trying to prove with the new U27V4EA. SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD V2: higher performance, new body

The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD was one of the first external SSDs we’ve tested. After the test, it became my sidekick and I’ve been using it to this day. Asus RT-AX89X – 10 Gb network ready for households

We only test routers rarely, usually if they bring any significant news. The last time, for example, it was an Asus router with WiFi 6. The first home router with a 10-gigabit connection is now coming to the market from the same manufacturer, using RJ45 and SFP+. The slow 1 Gbps cable connection was the drawback of WiFi 6 routers, and this is what the new RT-AX89X eliminates. Thanks to 10 Gb connectors, the home network is thus entering a new era. Asus ZenBook 13 UX325E – Tiger with a smaller body

Intel brought the 11th generation of processors relatively quickly, which naturally means that most laptop manufacturers have updated their models. Ultrawide monitors have not only gaming but also work use. This is especially the case when it comes to the so-called super ultrawide monitors or pieces with an aspect ratio of 32:10. Lenovo Legion Y740S – gaming laptop without a dGPU?

Gaming laptops in a thin body often suffer from two flaws – overheating and short battery life. What to do if you want high processor performance, but in a thin body, with good battery and at the same time not lose graphics performance when you are at home or at work? A gaming notebook with dedicated graphics card will always be heavier than an ultrabook and will not offer such battery life. On the other hand, ultrabooks lack CPU performance. The Legion Y740S resolves this dilemma. Read more “Lenovo Legion Y740S – gaming laptop without a dGPU?” »
