Everything went successfully. The third edition of HWCooling Techtour took place in Martin, and how did it look? That is what this article is about, and over time more will follow to give the best possible picture of the event, which aims to bring modern PC hardware into Slovak schools. Talks by representatives of AMD, Asus, DeepCool, or Axagon? Yes. Liquid nitrogen and cable manufacturing? That too.
In the city of Martin, at the secondary industrial school, we organized a hardware conference again this year. You may have already picked up some of the atmosphere in the article from the “dress rehearsal” that preceded the broadcast, in which schools across all of Slovakia took part.
The block of talks was kicked off by Krzysztof Luka (AMD)…

… followed by Michal Šimonek (Asus), Arthur Zhao (DeepCool), and Marek Bureš of Axagon.
From the names, you can probably tell that some of the speakers do not speak Slovak, or even Czech. They were therefore interpreted, and the result can be seen in the recording of the broadcast.

Throughout the day (the program ran from 8:00 in the morning to 2:35 in the afternoon), students competed for processors, motherboards, and coolers. This took the form of on-site activities or “online” quizzes. In the end, the most active ones installed a cooler on a CPU in a motherboard.

We will publish several articles from the whole event, and you should consider this one merely a kind of introduction to what it is all about. And what exactly is that? Sparking interest in technology among students and teaching staff alike. We believe it is useful, and we thank everyone who sees it similarly.
