New stars in the cooling hardware universe, part 3—Sudokoo

Established and well-known producers in the field are certainly familiar to our readers. In recent years, several new companies have appeared on the scene that may not yet be widely recognized. This series focuses precisely on such relatively new players. Although these brands have been on the market for a short time, their ambitions, fresh ideas, and technical solutions should not be underestimated. The third one has already proven its quality.

Sudokoo—a new brand that earned our highest award

In the field of PC cooling and high-performance components, large, established brands often dominate. However, enthusiasts have long known that new and ambitious companies can bring fresh momentum, innovation, and unconventional solutions. After introducing brands such as HAVN and APNX, today we turn to another contender that, despite its short time on the market, has already managed to attract the attention of both the community and professional reviewers—Sudokoo.

The birth of the Sudokoo brand

Sudokoo introduced itself to the cooling solutions market at Computex 2025, where it showcased its product portfolio. The lineup included air coolers, liquid coolers, as well as fans. Among the key products on display were the SK series CPU coolers (SK700V and SK620V) and the new MACH fan line.

SK700 Mach

At CES 2026, Sudokoo further expanded its offering with additional cooling solutions. For SFF projects, it introduced the low-profile SK600 VC air cooler featuring a vapor chamber integrated into the contact base. In addition, it presented an evolution of the SK700 cooler, adding its successful LCP Mach fan both to the product name and to the cooler itself. Other showcased models included a liquid cooler with a large display panel for performance monitoring and, last but not least, the high-performance ST720 air cooler designed for workstations based on the AMD Threadripper and AMD EPYC SP3/SP6 platforms. Its cuboid design at first glance resembles another cooler from DeepCool.

Truly independent or “DeepCool under a mask”?—where facts end and speculation begins

In discussions and on forums, comments frequently appear pointing to similarities between Sudokoo products and those of DeepCool. Whether it is the heatsink geometry and heatpipe layout (see image), structural elements of the fans (illuminated impeller hub), the overall visual aesthetics of the hardware, or the vapor chamber integrated into the cold plate. Some users even speculate that Sudokoo may be using the same OEM partner as DeepCool, or that these are modified DeepCool solutions marketed under a new brand due to the embargo on the U.S. market.

Coolers from Sudokoo and DeepCool

It must be emphasized, however, that such considerations have not been confirmed by official statements from either Sudokoo or DeepCool, and the headquarters of the two companies are geographically quite distant. These are unofficial opinions and assumptions based on surface-level similarities in design or architecture. That alone does not imply any direct linkage or technology sharing. Conspiracy-themed discussions about “hidden connections” are mentioned here purely to illustrate speculative debate—not as established fact. To conclude this speculative section, let me add one small illustrative image.

Sudokoo air CPU coolers—primary platform: AM5

Sudokoo has introduced several variants of air coolers within the SK series. Interestingly, all are primarily designed for AMD’s AM5 platform. The package directly includes an offset mounting solution for improved performance on this platform. What is relatively unique is that compatibility with other sockets is offered separately via an expansion kit—the Mounting Bracket Kit. This kit for air coolers, sold separately, extends compatibility to Intel: LGA1851/1700/1200/115X and AMD: (in addition to AM5) AM4.

The SK700 is an air cooler equipped with seven heatpipes and reportedly capable of dissipating up to approximately 220 W of thermal load. It enables straightforward installation thanks to the Rail Lock Mount mechanism, and the version designated with the letter “V” also features a digital display for monitoring temperature and performance.

The SK620 is a dual-tower cooler with a pair of 120 mm fans in a push-pull configuration. It has one fewer heatpipe but adds an additional tower as well as another fan.

Each air cooler—besides being available in a version without an LCD and with an LCD panel—is also offered in black and white finishes. A comparison of the coolers can be seen in the following table.

Model No. of towers Heatpipes Fan(s) Display Weight
SK700V 1 7× Ø6 mm 1× 120 mm Yes 1353 g
SK700 1 7× Ø6 mm 1× 120 mm No 1315 g
SK620V 2 6× Ø6 mm 2× 120 mm Yes 1645 g

Liquid coolers

In addition to air coolers, Sudokoo also presents a relatively solid portfolio in the liquid cooling segment. The flagship model, Proteus 360 AIO, has already been reviewed by TechPowerUp or Tom’s Hardware. Reviews highlight high-quality components and robust construction, which, however, is offset by a high price and consequently a weaker price-to-performance ratio. Proteus 360 is clearly the most powerful model in the lineup, featuring thicker 30 mm-profile fans and an LCD panel. This adds both functional and aesthetic value, and it can be rotated as needed without the use of tools.

Proteus 360

In addition to the top-tier Proteus line, Sudokoo offers the more balanced EnerGlo series, which includes a modular yet elegant and likewise rotatable display. The stated TDP is only 10 W lower. The Nexaura line lists the lowest cooling efficiency figures of the three models, but again only by 10 W compared to EnerGlo. Naturally, the pump no longer features a rotatable or modular display, but only a simple ARGB lighting effect. For clearer comparison, the following table summarizes the 360 mm versions.

Feature / Model Proteus 360 EnerGlo 360 Nexaura 360
Max. TDP [W] 320 310 300

MACH fans—a strong market debut

Without a doubt, one of the brand’s biggest highlights is the MACH fan series (e.g., MACH120 and MACH140). These fans combine a 30 mm thickness with a focus on high airflow and static pressure, utilizing LCP material. You can read more in our review, where they met the highest criteria and ranked among the very best.

Sudokoo offers quality that does not come cheap

Sudokoo is a brand that entered the scene relatively recently, yet it is already demonstrating ambitions to stand alongside established manufacturers. The portfolio combines traditional cooling architectures with modern features such as digital displays, as well as unconventional components with high manufacturing quality. Community feedback and professional testing so far indicate that the brand’s products generally deliver solid performance along with added aesthetic value.

If Sudokoo continues to develop its product line and confirm stable performance parameters, it may become one of the elite manufacturers in the segment. Although it has already demonstrated quality, its pricing targets higher tiers—where long-established and time-tested brands are firmly positioned. That may make the path more challenging for a newcomer in this segment. We will see how Sudokoo performs going forward.

In the next part, we will take a look at a company formed by industry veterans—similar to HAVN—and likewise aiming high.
