HWCooling Techtour ’25: Perspective of schools participating online

The schools that followed the conference (HWCooling Techtour) remotely also handled it excellently. If there’s anything we can be proud of in our country, it’s also what you can see in this article. It is primarily a large photo gallery capturing how the conference took place at individual schools across Slovakia. How they prepared in their own premises and participated in HWCooling Techtour ’25.

This year (2025), HWCooling Techtour was about one major novelty—the live broadcast. Thanks to it, the conference could reach many schools across Slovakia. Due to limited organizational capacity, we focused mainly on secondary schools with technical fields, which are thematically closest to the conference content. In addition to representatives from Nvidia, MSI, Endorfy, or Axagon, the author of HWiNFO was also on site, who was also approached by “our” TV station TA3. You can watch a short video report below:

And now for the main part—the schools’ point of view. From those who sent us photos from their premises. We don’t have materials from everyone at the time of publishing this article and are only publishing what is available (we will add more later). Finally, a big thank you for the trust (with a serious intention), for the organization, and overall for the cooperation, which was, is, and we believe will continue to be excellent.

In the future, we will eliminate several shortcomings that accompanied this edition. No matter what the challenges were, we have a foundation to build on, and the plan is to continue with useful activities. Below, we are gathering photos from the schools that trusted we wouldn’t let them down. We appreciate that. It’s no small thing, interrupting the usual classes and jumping into the unknown, or participating in something that might seem uncertain, even though we prepared for everything for a long time. We believe the photo gallery below somewhat reflects the responsible approach we always strive to present.

We managed to do a piece of useful work, which, unless something dramatic happens, we will build upon. From HWCooling magazine: You are truly brilliant! We will do everything in our power so that we can continue helping each other. We can bring the latest technologies to you, and you in turn select the students for whom it will be beneficial. A report about the conference has been published, for example, on the website of the Trenčín Self-Governing Region or on the website of the town Stará Turá, where we had our (at the Secondary Industrial School Stará Turá) dress rehearsal. Great admiration is also due to the students who are not afraid to ask questions in front of the cameras (even in a foreign language, in English), and also confidently come on stage to install a graphics card into a PC case. Yes, this is also nice to watch.

The conference broadcast to Slovak schools took place in Martin (at the Secondary Industrial Technical School Martin) and was supported, among others, by the Žilina Self-Governing Region, Department of Education and Sport. Thank you!

One of the main goals was the preparation and delivery of posters, or boards with breakdowns of thematic components (i.e., a graphics card, a power supply, and a PC case). Some of them have already been delivered, others are on the way. Then, later, we will also process a short… photo report on who and how installed these materials. We will collect them, publish them, you will see.
