The Arx 500 ARGB case is now also available in a white version. Compared to the “700” series (Arx 700 ARGB), it is shorter, has a smaller footprint, which also means narrower support for graphics cards. However, the requirement for shorter cards may not concern you at all, because you are still under the limit of what fits either way. For liquid cooling, the Arx 500 (White) case still supports large setups with 360-millimeter radiators.
First a larger one, now a smaller one. Following the Arx 700 White ARGB, the Arx 500 White ARGB case is being released. It is characterized by being (at 429 mm) 43 mm shorter. The height (486 mm) and width (228 mm) are otherwise the same as the larger case (Arx 700). The smaller depth primarily means you have to fit a shorter graphics card (up to 350 mm) and, in the top position, a liquid cooler radiator up to 280 mm (instead of 360 mm in the Arx 700). A longer radiator (up to 360 mm) can only be installed at the front, behind the front panel. Tower coolers are supported up to a height of 179 mm.
Four fans are pre-installed. They are 140-millimeter, white Stratus 140 PWM ARGB fans, which can also be purchased separately. Everything is white, making this a contrasting alternative to the “black” Arx 500 ARGB model, which has been on the market for quite some time. However, the recoloring process is rather complex, especially for the fans, if the goal is to maintain the original properties, which are also defined by the hardness of the material used. And since it’s not just a surface treatment (the white is a homogeneous material, throughout the entire structure of the fans), this process took a bit longer. That is, regarding the addition of the white variant to complement the black one.
Now that the white fans have been finalized, things have moved faster after their release, and importantly, the Arx 500 ARGB case is now also available in white among the current models. This can be attractive, of course, for those interested in completely white PC builds, but also for those who aim to achieve contrast using the case, for example with a black cooler (Fera 5 Black?) or with another component (like a graphics card?).
Next to two USB-A ports, the front panel also features a USB-C connector, and there are two 3.5 mm jack audio connectors. Then, at the front (top), there are two indicator LEDs (for storage activity and PC power status) and, in the same number, buttons (for reset and power on).
The fans (Stratus 140 White PWM ARGB) have lighting, by the way, so color tuning is also possible this way. The MSRP of the Endorfy Arx 500 White ARGB case is 115 EUR including VAT.
