At Computex 2026, we learned what BeQuiet! has in preparation. And there is really quite a lot—besides new coolers, there were also new cases on display, and we also have some details about new fans. And actually about old ones too, at least regarding product lines that will no longer be further developed. In the first of two articles, we will first focus exclusively on BeQuiet! PC components, including power supplies.
So let’s take it step by step—coolers. Dark Rock Pro 6 coolers also made an appearance at the booth. That is, coolers expected to push boundaries of what is currently possible. Besides tower concepts, there were also liquid coolers present. Some concepts are already on sale, but there is one novelty—displays on selected models. These carry the “IO” designation in their names and signify an advanced system that also connects to companion software through which it is possible to control not only lighting but also fan speeds.
A display cabinet with coolers also attracted attention, where besides existing models, reverse designs could also be seen. Regarding fans, we learned that the “Shadow Wings” product line will be discontinued and production will focus on the Silent Wings, Light Wings, and Pure Wings series, as far as fans are concerned.
Light Wings Pro IO? Yes, that is also in development together with modernized impeller geometry, and we can also confirm work on Silent Wings 5 (Pro) fans. However, we cannot reliably state when they will become available. There is some kind of prototype phase underway already, presumably—and it remains to be seen when everything will be ready and finalized for release. That will become clear later. In any case, these fans are a hot topic that we are counting on going forward.
The main thing for BeQuiet! is power supplies. In the form of Dark Power (Pro) 14 (IO), this means the ATX 3.1 standard, and the suffix initials—which you already know—means the possibility of quick interaction with BeQuiet! software. The kind through which it will also be possible to enable semi-passive mode. By the way, we already have this power supply (in the version without a display), and during the summer you will be able to enter a giveaway for it.
Among cases with an emphasis on cooling, there is the Pure Base 803 Airflow (Black) with a heavily perforated front panel. The illuminated variant will be the “LX” model, and a white version will also enter circulation.
