Brown and beige filament is in the testlab. What should we print?

In the test lab we have filament, specifically Prusament in Noctua color shades, from which we can print something. Something that could also be useful to you, our readers. However, we need a 3D model of the printed object. If you provide it, there is a chance that we will use it for illustrative purposes (to show how this material prints), you will see the result in an article, and we will also send it to you for further use.

We have them so that we can print something that makes sense. Prusa Research sent us two filaments in Noctua colors for this purpose. And now the time is slowly coming to print something from them. We do not have a 3D printer ourselves, but there is one at the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Žilina, and that will be the “place of action”. At this school, we will test how Prusament PLA Noctua Beige and Prusament PLA Noctua Brown print.

It will be something that will then be useful to the school itself, but so that we do not stop at just one or two prints (we will see…), we are also happy to process something for our readers. That is, if you send us (to info@hwcooling.net) the materials by January 6, 2026.

We would like to promise that it is enough to describe the idea and what kind of object you have in mind, but a file (with a 3D model) will be better. When you send it to us by email, we will include it in a draw, and the winning item will then be printed both for the purposes of the article and afterwards we can send it to the owner, or rather the author of the 3D model, via a shipping company. That is, provided they are not too far away from us, which in addition to expensive shipping could also mean customs clearance and similar procedures that are better avoided.

So that’s the plan. 🙂
