And directly from the source, the author of one of the world’s most widespread (and widely used) monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Sometimes there are more questions than answers, but in some areas we can help, ask around and come up with something… useful. That is also the case with the HWiNFO application, which many of you use to get an overview of what is “happening” with the computer system you have. We will structure the interview primarily with regard to the AMD platform (because we covered Intel more extensively in our previous interview), but you can ask about anything that comes to mind, including GeForce graphics cards, or Core Ultra processors, or Z890 motherboards (or older ones). It is up to you and what you consider important. We will somehow incorporate everything so that you can find answers to your questions.

Do Ryzen 9000 processors really run significantly cooler than Ryzen 7000 processors at comparable power consumption (and, of course, based on a similar design with one or two active CCDs)? Martin from HWiNFO probably won’t know the answer to that, but there are plenty of other things where he will have some insight.
We could also get into some slightly more provocative topics, such as who is easier to work with—and in what ways. Asus, Gigabyte, MSI. Who is better or worse in this regard? 🙂
