The HWCooling Techtour project was created primarily for technical secondary schools to help them get closer to the latest technologies, but this year everyone will be able to watch it. We’re introducing one big change—live streaming. From the venue, a video stream will be produced and made available to you, no matter where you are, even if that’s on the other side of the world.
The second edition of HWCooling Techtour (2025) is just around the corner. In addition to the thematic refresh, there’s another big change – during the event, we’ll broadcast the conference live. This is possible thanks to the team from the University of Žilina, specifically the Department of Multimedia and Information Technologies (Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology), which specializes in audio-visual production.
The video stream will be handled by MIKT and is crucial for covering at least 70 technical secondary schools. They will watch the hardware conference online, just as you can. The link for the stream is already scheduled for October 9, 2025. We start at 8:00.

You should know that the content is primarily intended for schools and their students, to help them take away as much as possible. This means we won’t overload them with details like the in-depth articles you’re used to on our website—we’re going with the “less is more” approach.
What matters to us is setting the direction, which everyone can further develop based on their needs. For schools, we’re also preparing boards with diagrams of a graphics card, power supply, and PC case, which tie into the conference theme. Besides speakers from MSI and Axagon, you’ll also see Igor Staněk from Nvidia, Mateusz from the Endorfy development team, and Martin Malík, the creator of the HWiNFO application. That one needs no introduction, and we’ve already covered how it works in this article. And we’ll go further with the students, in a way that’s useful for them. They’ll be able to ask questions, and for active participation, we’re preparing prizes in the form of themed components. Complete PC builds packed with modern hardware will be delivered by the retailer Datacomp. There’ll be plenty to see.
We’ll also set up an exhibition of Nvidia Founders Edition graphics cards, likely starting with the GTX 480 (Fermi) and going all the way up to RTX 5080 (Blackwell). Adam V. has an extensive collection in the test lab, which we’ll definitely put to use. It’ll be a great showcase of how things have evolved over time. To create an even bigger contrast between old and new, MSI will also bring some truly old GeForce cards alongside the latest models. First to SPŠ in Stará Turá for a rehearsal, and then to Martin (at the SPŠ technická), from where the broadcast will be streamed to all participating schools in Slovakia. We also thank selected regional governments for their support, which you’ll see in the transmission infographic.

The main goal is to spark a flame in students that will keep burning even after graduation, helping them build better career opportunities. And if you, our readers, join us as well, we’ll be happy. The option is there—you can be right “behind our backs.” 🙂
