Surprise? The CPS PCCooler RZ820 has made it to the very top

We have tested the CPS RZ820 cooler earlier on an “optimized” platform, but only now has it passed the standard methodology. And what do you know, no other tower cooler in our large database outperforms the RZ820 in terms of cooling performance per unit of noise. In this regard, the PCCooler is the most efficient, but it should also be added that it is also the heaviest cooler tested yet.

Spectral analysis of noise

A spectral analysis of the noise cannot be missing either. This is a simple analysis at noise levels of 39 dBA, 45 dBA and at maximum speed of the cooler. For the analysis I use the UMIK-1 microphone from miniDPS in conjunction with True Audio’s TrueRTA application. The resolution of the analysis is 1/24 of an octave and the shape of the spectrogram is an average of 100 samples acquired over 20–30 seconds.
