They’re built on an exceptionally efficient aerodynamic design, but come at a lower price point. Using more flexible blades reduces manufacturing costs, and the bearings in the Dynamic 3 fans are also “simpler” compared to the Momentum series. It did not take long for Fractal Design to modernize the system fans in its North cases. Instead of Aspect fans (used in the original models), versions equipped with Momentum fans are now available. I wonder how the thermals of an exhaust only setup will look like. So three 80mm exhaust fans, with the two 140mm fans removed. That would be a negative pressure setup which I think will provide the best balance of CPU and GPU thermals, though it will severely limit GPU options.
