Fans, coolers, cases. These are the primary topics for which we’re looking for someone active—someone who follows the news and enjoys informing others about it in a punchy yet information-rich way. The basics are therefore clear, and if reliability—specifically meeting deadlines—is added to that, then it’s exactly what we’re interested in. If you see yourself in this, get in touch and maybe we’ll come up with something together.
We would like to expand the HWCooling team with a new colleague who would focus on news coverage in areas around fans, coolers, and cases. That is, around the topics where Ľubomír Samák is involved in testing, and which from time to time benefit from being supplemented with news items—typically when there’s a fresh development. What Jan Olšan covers outside the above-mentioned areas is something we would also need on other fronts: fans, coolers (CPU, SSD, …), PC cases, or perhaps power supplies. For this, we’re looking for someone reliable who follows the field closely, is genuinely interested in it, and can meet agreed deadlines.
It is necessary that the applicant be able to write an article in Czech or Slovak that is suitable for publication. We assume that at the start it may be more difficult until you “get the ball rolling”, but if you have the motivation and demonstrate a responsible approach, we will certainly get through the initial phase. Of course, before you start working on anything, we’ll agree on compensation. The author’s fee per article will depend on the quality of what you deliver. We’re confident we’ll find a way to ensure you’re satisfied. However, the most important motivation is a different one—genuine interest in the subject matter itself. We believe HWCooling can be a good springboard into professional journalism, and alongside articles you’ll gain not only valuable experience but also solid references.

The length, form, topic—essentially everything—is up to you. You can see how we write articles on the HWCooling website. So there’s no need to write anything long. What’s required is punchiness with a focus on the essence, informational completeness, technical competence, and—where possible—at least a somewhat engaging writing style. 🙂
