Efforts around the HWCooling Techtour conferences will continue to be developed and expanded. Last year also revealed a number of shortcomings, for which we will prepare better and multiply our usefulness across more schools. We consider this cooperation with schools—where mutual enrichment through knowledge takes place—to be a major commitment and responsibility, and everything will be approached accordingly.
HWCooling Techtour ’25 was wonderful, but the goal is to push things toward even better results. Among other things, that means we want to be useful to more schools. Instead of 70, it could be more than 400. Instead of 96 (2025), we would reach out to as many as 480 schools. We assume that, just like last year, some schools will for various reasons not be interested. Some schools merge, elsewhere the topic might not fit, or they will simply have other plans on the day the conference (HWCooling Techtour ’26) takes place. There are many possibilities.
One thing is clear—we want to help a larger number of schools within our means. The invitation to HWCooling Techtour ’26 will also be sent to grammar schools (which were not included last year due to capacity reasons) and, in fact, to all schools dealing with something like “Informatics.” Thematically it will fit, as the main topic is to be AMD processors. And processors concern everyone who comes into contact with anything electronic (pretty much everything has a processor in some form…).
To manage this organizationally, we will bring a specialist into the team to handle communication with schools exclusively. In addition to eliminating many technical shortcomings we are aware of from past experience, interpreted audio is also planned. Most guests will be from abroad, and so that everyone understands everything, they will also receive it in Slovak (unless they prefer the original English audio track)—after all, this is for Slovak schools. For secondary schools. We are staying in this pond.
Secondary schools with overlap into technical education are the foundation for the years to come as well. This makes sense to us, and if it does to the schools too, then the basic prerequisites are met. We will again cooperate with the broadcasting team from the University of Žilina, which focuses on audiovisual production. So yes—we are going online again. Keep your fingers crossed that everything works out once more and that modern PC hardware technologies can reach schools and motivate many students who may ignite a passion for the field and, in this direction, move our society toward better tomorrows.
We will see what exactly and how it all turns out—the goal is set like this. We as organizers do everything out of love for PC hardware, we enjoy it (you know that…), but it only truly makes sense if, in this way, we can also be useful to others—to pupils (or even teaching staff) at schools. 🙂
