This year was exceptionally rich in terms of the activity we managed to generate. In various directions—whether on the magazine side or beyond it, reaching into school classrooms. The goal is to help create value in this field as well (in schools). At the same time, it is always extremely important what we are able to accomplish within our journalistic work itself. And there were quite a few milestones that were surpassed here, too.
The year 2025 flew by. Toward the end, in October, we successfully organized the HWCooling Techtour ’25 conference, where schools met contemporary PC hardware. This took place with the participation of representatives of multinational companies (Nvidia, MSI, Endorfy, and Axagon), and Martin (Malík) from HWiNFO also had his own lecture block. With the support of education departments in the Žilina Self-Governing Region and in the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, we were then also able to produce educational materials for schools with breakdowns of the relevant components.
We thank everyone involved—including the schools and the broadcasting team from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Žilina—for the professional organization and excellent cooperation. We will continue these efforts in the coming year as well.
There are already one hundred units in SSD cooler tests, and the result databases of other components have grown as well. A similar figure (100 tested) is also being approached by fans.
In 2025, we also significantly expanded CPU cooler tests, PC case tests, and graphics card tests. Adam (Vágner) also focused on tests beyond the standard scope—tests that are not covered elsewhere.
News coverage continued at its traditional pace under Jano (Olšan), and under the direction of Jozef (Dudáš) we also responsibly developed the English version of the magazine. This should not be overlooked—there is an enormous amount of work behind it, which we do out of a love for knowledge, and this mindset will continue going forward. Jozef also traveled abroad for it this year, to Taiwan, where he attended Computex (2025) and visited the Gigabyte factory.
And finally, a greeting to all HWCooling.net readers. Thank you for your support, thank you for coming to us… without you, we could not exist. 🙂
PS: You may have wondered why we have not been covering ID-Cooling. We will. We have finally managed to establish contact with this company, and the goal is also to deepen cooperation with Thermalright—and… you can surely think of other brands as well, among which, from our point of view, belongs the young and ambitious Sudokoo (recall the Mach120 fan tests).
