So far, Nvidia has only announced GeForce RTX 5000 series cards priced from 549 to 1999 USD (officially). Cheaper models like the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 are expected to join the lineup soon. But this time, an even more affordable card is reportedly on the way, potentially bringing something new to the low end, where Nvidia currently has just the relatively weak GeForce RTX 3050 based on the four-year-old Ampere architecture.
Nvidia is reportedly preparing the GeForce RTX 5050 SKU, which could be priced in the 199–249 USD range. However, the pricing itself is likely just something based on speculation for now, as the actual MSRP will largely depend on how the RTX 5060 is priced and, in practice, on card availability in stores—until Nvidia sorts out its production hiccups, prices will remain high due to insufficient supply volume.
A price around 249 USD would allow Nvidia to directly compete with the Intel Arc B570 and B580 cards. However, it’s worth noting that these are also in short supply and currently selling for higher prices than these recommended sums, though their introductory prices did earn them a good reputation. Currently, you’ll find it easier to find cards like Radeon RX 7600 under 300 USD.
The GeForce RTX 5050 is rumored to have a TDP of 135 W, but there’s no information yet on the GPU used or the number of compute units it might feature. The card is said to retain an 8 GB memory capacity, but instead of GDDR7, it will reportedly use cheaper GDDR6. This likely means a 128-bit bus, which is compatible with the two smallest Blackwell chips, GB206 (4608 shaders, 36 SMs) and GB207 (2560 shaders, 20 SMs).
The release of the GeForce RTX 5050 is reportedly planned for April. The website BenchLife claims to have confirmed that Nvidia is planning this card, but VideoCardz, for example, states it has no information about it.

GeForce RTX 5060 with a 145W TDP
WCCFtech also shares some details about the upcoming GeForce RTX 5060. It is said to use a PCB labelled PG162 SKU 25 and will be sold with 8 GB of memory as the only option (there won’t be 16 GB version, which is expected to launch for the RTX 5060 Ti). The TDP of this card is rumored to be 145 W, slightly higher than the RTX 4060, which had a 115 W TDP. Power delivery could be via a 12+4-pin or 8-pin connector.
According to WCCFtech, this card is likely to hit the market in the second half of April.
