HWC has published several analyses that deserve to be revisited. Although they are not from today—or even yesterday—we still consider them useful in practice. The final part of this series will contain something “extra”—vibration tests of different samples of the same fan models, a comparative overview of thermal pastes, and a really large database of CPU cooler tests.
The vibration data of a single fan differs from the average of three units, and the cross-section of fifteen models also differs somewhat. What can the difference be between the least and most vibrating Endorfy Stratus 120 PWM fan when a larger number of samples is included in the analysis is illustrated below.

Have you ever wondered which thermal paste to choose to achieve optimal results? Whether from the perspective of achieving the highest possible heat dissipation or finding some balance between the final cooling performance and the purchase price (of the cooler and thermal paste).
A really old, but still informative comparison test of many coolers across several usage scenarios. Some coolers are still available in stores, while others (and there will probably be quite a few of those) are no longer sold. In any case, wasn’t that Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E (Extreme) a great cooler? 🙂
