Explanatory note: To assess how accurately manufacturers report their specifications, we compute a “truth coefficient.” This is the ratio between our measured data and the manufacturer-stated values. A coefficient of ‘1.00’ indicates that the declared parameters match our test results, affirming accurate and honest specification reporting. The further the value deviates from 1.00, the more the declared specs diverge from reality. A coefficient greater than 1.00 means real-world performance exceeds advertised figures, while values below 1.00 (e.g., 0.80) indicate underperformance—by 20% in this example. If the value is missing from the graph, it’s due to the manufacturer not providing the corresponding airflow or static pressure specification.
