Gigabyte offers four Radeon RX 9060 XT models in its Gaming series. We’ll take a look at the top one – the 16GB Gaming OC model with factory overclocking. It features a Windforce cooler with three fans and delivers a step above the basics in both cooling and noise levels. It’s priced right in the middle compared to other models, and the same goes for its features – it may not match premium cards, but it’s clear that Gigabyte didn’t cut corners to save costs.
Clocks, Temperatures & Fan Speeds – F1 24
The next tests are from the F1 24 benchmark at 3840 × 2160 resolution using Ultra settings. This benchmark runs five laps on the Singapore map in wet conditions. Unlike other benchmarks, the load is continuous, with no relief between loops, so the card remains warm throughout.
Clock speeds differ from those in Cyberpunk only by a few dozen MHz. During testing, the heated card maintained a clock speed between 2830 and 2884 MHz, with an average of 2865 MHz.
According to monitoring, the card’s power consumption (light green) held close to the 182 W limit, with the rest of the system components adding nearly 100 W, bringing the total average power consumption measured at the outlet to 287.7 W.
The average temperature of the heated chip peaked at 59 °C, with memory reaching 84 °C and the hotspot at 79 °C according to monitoring.
Maximum fan speeds hovered around 1920 RPM. Given the component temperatures, it’s clear again that the fans could have run slower.
