The Ventus 2X OC model with 8 GB of memory is the most affordable GeForce RTX 5060 variant from MSI. It features a compact dual-slot cooler with a length of 20 cm, making it suitable even for small-form-factor cases. The cooler is slightly louder than average due to overly high fan speeds, but it has sufficient headroom for manual fan speed reduction. But with 8 GB of memory, compromises are necessary in the most demanding games.
Cyberpunk 2077, RT Medium, 2560 × 1440
The next set of measurements comes from the Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark with RT Medium settings at a resolution of 2560 × 1440. Again, this consists of eight consecutive benchmark runs, with the final run shown in the graph and used to calculate the average for the warmed-up card.
The clock speed of the warmed-up GPU ranges between 2617 and 2700 MHz, with an average of 2658 MHz.
According to monitoring (light green data series), power consumption stays precisely at the 145 W limit. Thanks to the efficient processor and, by today’s standards, a fairly efficient graphics card, average total system power consumption is only 250 W.
The average GPU temperature differs only slightly, with the peak even a bit lower. Memory remains at 68 °C, and the fans run only marginally faster—this is due to the shorter test loop.
Fans typically run at around 1740 RPM; only during brief load spikes at the start do they ramp up to about 1860 RPM.
