The Ventus 2X OC model with 8 GB of memory is the most affordable GeForce RTX 5060 variant from MSI. It features a compact dual-slot cooler with a length of 20 cm, making it suitable even for small-form-factor cases. The cooler is slightly louder than average due to overly high fan speeds, but it has sufficient headroom for manual fan speed reduction. But with 8 GB of memory, compromises are necessary in the most demanding games.
Noise level, operating characteristics—F1 24, 2560 × 1440
The next tests come from the F1 24 benchmark at a resolution of 2560 × 1440 with Ultra settings. This test uses five laps on the Singapore track in wet conditions. Unlike other benchmarks, this is a continuous load, with no drop in load between loops, and the card remains warmed up throughout.
The warmed-up card maintains a GPU clock in the range of 2640 to 2692 MHz, with an average of 2666 MHz.
According to monitoring (light green), power consumption again stays very close to the 145 W limit. Average total system power consumption is 235.9 W.
The average GPU temperature peaks at 71.1 °C, while memory reaches 66 °C.
Fan speeds are noticeably higher, which also increases noise. The fans reach up to 2120 RPM.
