Following the analysis of details, we now move on to the test results. These demonstrate that Fractal Design’s Momentum fans truly deliver. Just how well is ultimately up to each of you to judge. One factor is the aerodynamic design of the fans, another is the overall airflow design of the case, and yet another is the specific components being cooled. What we can conclude, however, is that the Meshify 3 XL is suitable even for the most demanding builds.
Results: HDD noise level
On vibrations: With intake fans, we registered some vibration at the top front area of the case, but again, not to a level that would cause a significant increase in secondary noise (e.g., rattling of a desk surface). Behind the front panel structure, vibration is already negligible, and relocating all fans to exhaust makes vibration virtually unnoticeable.
