According to leaks, AMD is expected to release their new desktop processors with Zen 4 architecture and 5nm manufacturing process in six weeks and will formally unveil them before the end of the month. And it seems the parameters of these CPUs are now also out. We even have them from two sources, improving the odds this info is legit. AMD has self-leaked Ryzen 7000 models. Cheaper 7700X octa-core?

Although AMD’s new desktop processors with Zen 4 architecture and the new AM5 platform seem to be very close with release probably less than two months away, the company managed to keep the specs under wraps. It’s not completely leak-proof though. The company’s own website actually revealed information about the models coming out in the first wave of new processors. Intel Arc A380 GPU performance is worse than RX 6400 after all

After missing previous 2021 and Q1 2022 deadlines, Intel Arc discrete desktop graphics cards with the Xe HPG gaming architecture went on sale in China this month. But instead of some bombastic arrival, Intel is releasing them rather quietly, first only in China and only in the OEM market. AMD reveals future processor plans and first details on Zen 5

From AMD’s Financial Day 2022 conference on Thursday, we’ve already covered here what the company said that was new about Zen 4 and Ryzen 7000 (especially the IPC reveal). More Ryzen 7000 details: TDP and PPT, iGPU features and more…

We’ve already had an article about AMD’s Ryzen 7000 CPUs and what was revealed about them at Computex 2022, but we need to revisit them once more. AMD Ryzen 7000 sample leaked: Zen 4 cores boost up to 5.2 GHz

AMD CPUs bringing the 5nm manufacturing process, the new Zen 4 architecture and also a new desktop platform (AM5) with DDR5 memory, look to be quite close, these Ryzen 7000 processors could be here as early as September. An interesting teaser has emerged now: it seems AMD tested a Ryzen 7000 sample in the Phoronix Test Suite, and the result went public in the OpenBenchmarking database. Next year’s Ryzen 7000 APUs will have RDNA 3 GPUs

This fall, AMD is releasing a new generation of graphics cards (Radeon RX 7000) and Ryzen 7000 “Raphael” desktop processors with Zen 4 cores. However, this architecture should also be adopted quite quickly by Ryzen 7000 “Phoenix” APU processors for laptops. Little was known about these, but information on them has also started to leak: the Linux driver code has revealed the architecture of the integrated GPU. Ryzen 7 5800X3D with V-Cache is locked, impossible to overclock

This week AMD announced the April release of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, claimed to be “the ultimate gaming CPU” (at least amongst Ryzen processors, we’ll see if it beats Intel’s 12th-generation Core). However, this CPU has one flaw for enthusiasts – it’s been confirmed that it is not overclockable. AMD has revealed that this is an unfortunate side effect of the 3D V-Cache, the company reassures us it’s not cracking down on OC as such. Official Ryzen 5000 support finally coming to B350/X370 boards

On Tuesday, AMD officially announced new AM4 desktop processors: the gaming Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 96 MB V-Cache and new “mainstream” Ryzen 4000 and 5000 SKUs for cheaper PCs. But there is one more important news associated with these processors. After more than a year, AMD has changed its policy and is officially allowing support for the latest CPUs in boards with X370 and B350 chipsets. BIOSes for such boards are on the way. More new budget AMD CPUs, including the quad-core Ryzen 3 5100

AMD is now preparing a sort of mid-generation refresh of its CPU and GPU offerings – Ryzen 5000 and Radeon RX 6000. There have been several reports about them in the last few days, but we’ll have to add one more. It looks like the company will be releasing even more CPUs than the six new models we wrote about last time. Specs of the integrated GPU coming to Zen 4 Ryzen CPUs leaked

One of the drawbacks of the higher-tier Ryzen processors (3000X, 5000X models) is that they do not have an integrated GPU. However, this should change with the new 5nm Ryzen 7000 generation with Zen 4 architecture. Finally getting new architecture in desktop (and finally using a modern manufacturing process) has reinvigorated Intel processors. It looks like AMD is under pressure now, as it has reportedly decided to make a move that doesn’t happen often: its much-anticipated next generation of 5nm processors with Zen 4 architecture may be coming to market much sooner than originally planned. AMD unveils Ryzen 6000: 6nm Zen 3+ with superfast RDNA 2 iGPU

AMD has been releasing its new laptop CPUs during CES every January, and this year will be no different. The Ryzen 6000 was revealed, AMD’s first 6nm APU that also brings support for DDR5 and LPDDR5 memory. And most importantly, all-new integrated graphics with RDNA 2 architecture that will set a new standard in gaming performance. Gigabyte and MSI B350 & X370 boards support Ryzen 4000/5000

One of the hot topics of last year was AMD not making Zen 3 processors compatible with the first generation of AM4 socket boards, so the 300 series chipsets are out of luck. However, this issue has seen an unexpected development. Last month, a number of 300-generation boards received new BIOSes, enabling official upgrades to newer processors – Ryzen 4000G APUs and, in some cases, even Ryzen 5000s. AMD redies 3D chiplets: demo of Zen 3 with 192MB 3D V-Cache

After Intel, AMD has now presented its new products. These include the Ryzen 5000G APU, Radeon RX 6000M graphics for laptops and FSR upscaling intended as a competition for DLSS from Nvidia. But the processor news was the most interesting thing: 3D silicon chiplets layered on top of each other may come into Ryzen processors, and AMD has shown a prototype, which has 3× larger L3 cache, bringing nice gaming performance boosts.
