Asus TUF GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Review: Great, but Pricey

The top model of the RTX 5060 Ti currently available from Asus is the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB OC Edition. Although its power consumption isn’t particularly high, it comes with a large triple-slot cooler (30 cm) that easily manages the 180W load, keeping GPU and memory temperatures at 70 °C with fans running at just 1000 RPM and staying whisper-quiet. It also offers a dual BIOS and other premium features, but these come at a steep price.

Cyberpunk 2077, RT Medium, 3840 × 2160 (Q mode)

Next is the measurement from Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark with RT Medium settings at 3840 × 2160 resolution using the quieter Silent BIOS. Under this setting, the GPU is fully stressed. The test consists of eight consecutive benchmark runs.

Each graph displays the final run from which the average value of a warmed-up card is calculated.

In Quiet mode, the performance difference is within the margin of error. Clock speeds differed only slightly, dropping by about 11 MHz.

Clock speeds ranged from 2767 to 2797 MHz, with an average of 2782 MHz.

Probably due to higher temperatures, the card’s power consumption increased by a few watts.

Both the average GPU temperature and memory temperature rose by about 5 °C, still reaching only up to around 70 °C.

During load, fan speeds climbed only to about 980 RPM, and you would hear them only at close distances in an otherwise silent environment.
