The GeForce RTX 5060 and 8 GB RTX 5060 Ti have come under the heaviest fire in Nvidia’s new RTX 50 series. Still, many customers go for them – whether by choice or budget. If you’re among them, pay attention: Gigabyte’s RTX 5060 Gaming OC doesn’t try to impress with lighting effects, but for a small extra cost, it offers excellent performance thanks to a large heatsink allowing unobstructed airflow through half of the card.
Clocks, Temperatures & Fan Speeds—F1 24, 2560 × 1440 (Silent)
The following graphs display monitoring data from the F1 24 benchmark at 2560 × 1440 and 3840 × 2160 resolutions with Ultra settings. The tests were conducted on the Singapore circuit in wet conditions. Unlike other benchmarks, this one doesn’t consist of looped passes that allow the card to cool between runs—it’s a continuous gaming load over a five-lap race lasting more than ten minutes. The values shown are from the final lap, when the GPU is fully warmed-up.
The GPU clock ranged between 2647 and 2707 MHz, averaging 2671 MHz.
The card operated at its power limit throughout.
Peak core temperature was 73.8 °C, while memory consistently hovered around 76 °C.
Maximum fan speed was around 1300 RPM.
According to monitoring, GPU Boost was voltage-limited during the load.

Frame rates were unplayable, and while GPU utilization appeared maxed out (in purple), the power consumption graphs below clearly show the chip wasn’t going pedal to the metal.
As a result, GPU clock speeds slightly increased, ranging from 2715 to 2737 MHz, with an average of 2727 MHz.
Average card power consumption dropped from 155 W to 144 W.
That caused a slight decrease in core and memory temperatures.
Fan speeds dropped by about 50 RPM.
Monitoring again confirms voltage as the limiting factor for GPU Boost.
