Gigabyte has added new Radeon models to its lineup. That’s good news for anyone tired of all-black components. Alongside the budget-friendly Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC and RX 9070 XT Gaming OC, the company is introducing “Ice” variants that pair a white shroud with gray and silver accents. As long as pricing doesn’t stray far from the standard black versions, they should rank among the best-value white cards on the market.
Clocks, Temperatures & Fan Speeds—Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition (Silent)
And finally, the Silent mode and the last set of measurements from the Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition benchmark, using the Extreme setting at a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels.
In Silent mode, the only notable differences are again in temperatures and fan speeds; performance and clock frequencies vary only slightly. The frame rate dropped by just 0.1 fps.
The GPU clock frequency ranges from 2,611 to 2,876 MHz, averaging 2,718 MHz.
According to HWiNFO monitoring, the card’s average power draw once again hits the 330 W limit, while the PC’s total average power draw is 482.5 W.
Temperatures in Silent mode are only slightly higher for both the GPU and memory. The GPU’s average peak temperature reached 72 °C, while the memory fared a bit worse at 100 °C, with the hotspot at 92 °C.
At peak, the fans reached around 1,820 rpm. Even in Silent mode, the card won’t be truly quiet unless you manually adjust the power and fan control limits.
