The Prime series is one of Asus’s newer product lines, aimed at budget-minded customers. By combining lower prices with solid features, it delivers an attractive price-to-performance ratio—and that goes for graphics cards, too. The Prime GeForce RTX 5070 12GB OC Edition is one of the most affordable options currently available. Yet it avoids the typical pitfalls of low-cost models—clearly, Asus didn’t skimp where it matters.
Clocks, Temperatures & Fan Speeds – F1 24 (P mode)
The next benchmark series comes from F1 24, run at 3840 × 2160 resolution with Ultra settings. The benchmark consists of five laps on the Singapore track in wet conditions. Unlike other benchmarks, this one applies continuous stress, with no breaks in load between loops, keeping the card consistently warm.
Clocks didn’t shift much from what they were in Cyberpunk. The warmed-up card maintained a fairly stable range of 2715–2775 MHz, with a 2740 MHz average.
According to monitoring (light green), power draw hovered around the 250 W cap once again.
Average GPU temperature of the warmed-up chip stayed around 68 °C, with memory at 70–72 °C.
Fans reached up to 2000 RPM. At that point, it’s audibly clear that the card is under heavy load.
Power usage graphs suggest the GPU may be hitting the power limit, though symptoms again point to voltage limiting.
