The information embargo on Radeon RX 9060 XT test results has been lifted. Let’s take a look at how the new Radeon stacks up against the competing GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti. The 16GB variant is priced closer to Nvidia’s 8GB models and offers a better price-to-performance ratio than the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti. The more affordable Sapphire Pulse RX 9060 XT model adds great thermal and acoustic performance on top of that.
Clocks, Temperatures & Fan Speeds – Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition
The next set of tests comes from Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition using Extreme settings at 3840 × 2160 resolution.
There are no major surprises in this last round of testing either.
GPU clock speeds ranged between 2755 and 2979 MHz, averaging 2853 MHz.
Power consumption remained steady right at the 170W configured limit.
Temperatures again were relatively low – GPU stayed at 62 °C, memory reached 86 °C, and hotspot peaked at 81 °C.
Maximum fan speeds during peak loads hit 1910 RPM.
