DLSS 3 and frame generation minitest in MS Flight Simulator

Nvidia DLSS 3 support has been added to Microsoft Flight Simulator in the latest update. This bypasses CPU limits and allows running at triple-digit fps thanks to “frame generation” techniques. Flying is now more comfortable, smoother, although there is one rather significant limitation – you need to own one of the graphics cards with an Ada Lovelace GPU. MSI RTX 4080 16GB Suprim X: Ada Lovelace with GPU near 3 GHz

Current ATX (2.x standard) power supplies are quite unprepared, at least for the RTX 4090 graphics card. What RTX 4090 lacks: Nvidia RTX 6000 Ada is almost the full AD102

On Tuesday, Nvidia unveiled the first GeForce RTX 4000 GPUs with Ada Lovelace architecture. The fastest RTX 4090 SKU is based on the AD102 chip, but it’s already been confirmed that it’s a stripped-down version with 16,384 shaders, while the full chip has over 18,000 FP32 units. But Nvidia already has a card that has almost all of the units unlocked: the Nvidia RTX 6000 Ada, a GPU aimed at professional graphics and similar markets. Nvidia had their GTC 2022 keynote scheduled for Tuesday. As expected, company CEO Jen-Hsun Huang finally unveiled new gaming  graphics cards at this presentation alongside various enterprise, AI, and automotive stuff: the GeForce RTX 4090 and GeForce RTX 4080 with the new Ada Lovelace architecture. They’ll come to market in the next two months, however we don’t exactly have good news on the prices Nvidia will charge for them. The coming of Intel Arc discrete graphics cards was strange – the company tried to keep up the audience excited with constant stream of news, but the efforts were thwarted by the long delays. Cheap and now even cheaper RTX 3050 – MSI Ventus 2X 8G OC

In addition to the global price drop on all graphics cards, MSI is now also reducing the MSRP of the RTX 3050 Ventus 2X (OC) from its lowest range. The phrase “affordable graphics card” thus takes on a new spin, and if you’ve read somewhere that the performance characteristics of Ventus graphics cards aren’t worth much, forget it. Leaked RDNA 3 GPU details: Has AMD underestimated Nvidia?

Major news has surfaced about AMD’s upcoming RDNA 3 architecture based 5nm GPUs. These chips will form the basis of Radeon RX 7000 generation graphics cards, which will compete with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4000 GPUs. Angstronomics has published their specifications as well as chip sizes, which raise doubts whether they can have competitive performance. On the other hand, they could be relatively low-cost. Nvidia changed plans, GeForce RTX 4070 will have faster specs

We have been getting leaked spec bits of the upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 cards based on the “Lovelace” architecture for some time. But things still aren’t set in stone yet (or at least not for all models), so things are still subject to change. And that is what has now happened with the GeForce RTX 4070 SKU. China has its own GPU: the Glenfly Arise GT-10C0 from Zhaoxin

There have been multiple reports about Chinese company Glenfly, which is one of the Chinese projects seeking to produce a local GPUs that would not come from abroad. It has now officially revealed the Glenfly Arise GT-10C0, its first discrete graphics card, including full specifications. Seems like it’s probably coming soon and will be an important complement to alternative Chinese CPUs like Loongson that can’t power PCs without a GPU. Five Intel Arc GPUs coming: A750 with 448 EUs is close to A770

More information is gradually coming in on Intel’s first generation of discrete gaming GPUs, the Arc graphics cards. Intel recently revealed the performance of Arc A750, said to outperform GeForce RTX 3060 cards. It won’t be the fastest SKU, now Intel began showcasing the more powerful A770 model.
