When the RTX 5060 Ti launched, we tested one of Gigabyte’s cheaper Eagle models. Today we’re looking at the better-equipped RTX 5060 Ti Gaming OC from the same manufacturer. It uses a larger cooler and is quieter at the same temperatures. The price uplift over the base models is modest, and prices across brands are nearly identical. Even so, it faces stiff competition from Radeons, which are highly attractive alternatives.
Noise level, operating characteristics—Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, 2560 × 1440 (Performance)
The next set comes from the Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition benchmark at Extreme settings. The test is at 2560 × 1440 resolution with the Extreme profile. The performance difference is again at the level where it cannot be said to be caused by the GPU clocks being lower by 13 MHz.
The GPU clock speed ranges between 2775 and 2812 MHz with an average of 2801 MHz.
In Metro, GPU power draw is usually higher, but it also shows the highest fluctuations. The drop in consumption at the end of the loop is common for most cards.
With the lower power draw at the end of the loop, the GPU temperature also drops, with a maximum of 68.0 °C. Memory reaches 64 °C.
Fans reach 2240 RPM.
And diagnostics again report that the card is hitting the reliability voltage limit for sustained load.
