The prices of the top-tier GeForce RTX 5090 cards are extremely high, so for most gamers, the GeForce RTX 5080 is likely the fastest graphics card they’re seriously considering. With no real alternatives nearby, the price range for the RTX 5080 varies widely. Premium models are pricey, and if you want more than a budget model, you’ll likely end up with a card like the TUF GeForce RTX 5080. Apparently, it should’ve been cheaper, but it’s still a safe bet.
Clocks, Temperatures & Fan Speeds – Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition (P mode)
The next set of tests comes from Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition using Extreme settings at 3840 × 2160 resolution.
There are no major surprises in this last round of testing either.
GPU clock speeds ranged between 2767 and 2835 MHz, averaging at 2815 MHz.
Average GPU power consumption stayed at 350.4 W, occasionally spiking near 360 W – aligning with the official specification limit.
Thermals remain excellent – the GPU maintained 67.4 °C and memory 68 °C.
This is primarily due to high airflow, with fans reaching up to 1900 RPM during peaks.
